I am in Alesund, Norway for business. This is my first trip to Norway and I have been blown away by the serinity of this place. I am blogging from the hotel room and if you plan to visit Alesund make sure you book the hotels well in advance as they are always over booked. I was luck to have the same room for two nights. It is a beautiful Archipelago with tall mountains and scenic ocean fronts. I realized there is so much to do here in Norway, it is a shame that I am on a busines trip. I think I will plan a trip to Norway with Agusta and Mira to drive through all the islands and see the small towns.
I was glad to have one of my collegue also here with me who is also preparing to run the Reykjavik marathon so we have been running the last two evenings. It has been great, I have learnt quite a bit about the Factoring business and all the tourist things that we can do in Norway. So far my experience in Norway has been very positive...
I started running seriously in 2006, after a shock from my doctor that I had diabetes. I have run many marathons since then and have beaten diabetes. My goal is to keep running as long as I am physically able... it is one of the most exhilarating and transformational experiences I have had

Ran 21 km in 2 hours 13 min
Over the weekend I ran 21 km in 2 hours and 13 minutes. It was tiring but I finished and my legs are still sore. I plan to run again tomorrow for about 5 miles.
